About Ski Rossendale
Ski Rossendale has 3 ski slopes. The Dendex Main Slope of 200m is accessed by 2 drag lifts and now has arguably the country's best Snoflex quarterpipe. The Fun Park has jumps to suite all abilities, a box and flat learner rail, as well as one of the gnarlyest flat/down handrails in the country.
The Nursery Slope is for lessons only and has 2 Rope Tows and a Travelator Lift.
Equipment: Ski and snowboard hire is included included for free!
We now have helmets available free of charge to all who wish to wear them.
Helmets are compulsory for all fun park (intermediate) slope users and those racing or race training.
Beginners: All beginners must take tuition to a standard whereby they can control
their speed and direction on the main slope and use the lifts. If you are not to this standard you will be asked
to leave and no refund may be given. We strongly recommend that if you aren't sure of your ability, you should call us to find a suitable lesson. Lessons must be pre-booked.
Please note that family and friends may not teach you at Ski Rossendale unless
they have a current instructor's licence, public liability insurance and have
been given prior consent.
For this reason taster lessons are available at the price of 1 hour's practice.
A taster lesson will give you a basic introduction to our sports, additional lessons
will be required before you can practice unsupervised.
For more information and bookings, please ring 01706 226457
To avoid disappointment please call to book all lessons.
What to wear: We are an outdoor activity situated on a hillside so please dress
to suit the weather conditions. GLOVES are compulsory, as are long sleeves and
trousers (basic work gloves are on sale for £1.35 a pair). Clothing should be free
from toggles which could snag on the lift hangers. Don't wear anything expensive
but do wear comfortable, flexible clothing.
We are situated in Rawtenstall, in the picturesque Rossendale Valley, close to the end of the M66.
