The Sports Development Team at Rossendale Leisure Trust offers a reliable outreach service to the local community, including coaching, funding, athlete/club development and volunteering opportunities.
Our well-known coaches are some of the best in the North West and work across many of the schools in the Borough during term time.
The team excels in coaching football, cricket, badminton and street dance, and also provides coaching and support for a wide variety of other sports and activities.
During the school holidays, the Team joins forces with Arts Development to put on an entertaining and exciting array of activities for 5 to 16 year olds. Activities may vary, but have included badminton, football and cricket camps, dance classes, pampering days for girls, team building, archery, skiing and various trips to adventure parks and local attractions.
