The arts development unit is responsible for covering all areas of the arts, including fine art,
craft, public art, literature, performance art, dance, drama, music, T.V. and film, fashion and other
creative industries. Often these are linked to specific areas - education, environment, health,
economic development, community cohesion, developing creative industries etc.
We work with a number of partner agencies and organisations including Lancashire County Council,
Arts Council England North West, Youth and Community, Mid Pennine Arts, Groundwork, other East
Lancs local authorities and other, more local organisations and groups.
